From May 9 to 10, 2024, at the Hôtel Djeuga Palace in Yaoundé (Cameroon) and on the initiative of Cabinet NOUYADJAM & ASSOCIATES, an international and multidisciplinary colloquium was held under the institutional sponsorship of the Minister of Sports and Physical Education.
Various epistemological analyses and reflections were devoted to the theme of sports federations.
The symposium was timely insofar as sports federations, entrusted with the public service missions of sport, are at the heart of the dialectic between the conception and implementation of sports policy by the State, and the concern of said sports federations to preserve not only their organic and functional singularity, but also their autonomy, which is appreciated in many quarters.
