On June 17-18, 2024, the Association of Sports Lawyers (ACADS), led by Barrister NOUYADJAM Jean Jacques, and Football Legal, founded by Mr. Alexandre DURAND, hosted the first edition of the Football Legal Conference Africa 2024 at the Djeuga Palace Hotel in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
The conference aimed to address the knowledge gap in football’s legal framework and provide training for stakeholders. Key topics included:
1. Transfer systems and compensation mechanisms
2. Youth player development in Africa
3. Footballer employment contracts
4. Governance and regularization of football
